Bhor's thekua is "Best in Taste" and sweetness at its perfection - said by 99% of our consumers.
But at Bhor, we are proud of our commitments, our preparation, and wellness focused approach.
a. Our recipe is at least 4+ generations old, going back more than a century and bringing ancient tradition & secrets.
b. We use only pure desi cow ghee in all our products at every stage - dough marination, kneading, & frying. Nothing apart from ghee is used.
c. We don't use refined sugar in any of our products.
d. We don't use plastic packaging, ensuring the wellbeing of our consumers & mother nature.
We have shared ingredients used in each of thekua in respective product page. Our thekua mainly consists of 100% pure wheat flour, pure desi cow ghee, jaggery or tal mishri.
We neither use preservative nor we need it, as pure desi cow ghee used in every stage acts as natural preservative and enhances shelf life.
At every stage - from wheat dough marination to frying -, only pure desi cow ghee is used. Nothing apart from ghee is used. We prepare in exactly the same way how it used to be centuries back, when Indian villages had abundance of cow milk and ghee in every household, palm or vegetable oil were not introduced by foreign brands, and such clean-label ingredients were key to wellbeing. When we say ghee thekua then we really mean it.
